Burlington House School

Burlington House School is an all-through specialist day school in London for pupils with specific learning differences. From September 2026 we welcome pupils in Years 3 to 14, aged 7 to 19, across our Prep, Senior and Sixth Form. We are mainstream in structure yet specialist in nature, so pupils follow a broad and ambitious curriculum while benefiting from small classes, specialist teaching and full-time on-site therapy.

Our schools and ages

The Prep and Senior School, in Fulham, support pupils in Years 3 to 11 with a curriculum that runs from early, nurturing primary years through to public examinations including GCSEs. The Sixth Form, also in Fulham at its new home on the former Prep site, offers a wide range of academic and vocational courses for students aged 16 and over. We also have a separate school, Burlington House School, Tooting, for pupils aged 11 to 16.

Small classes and specialist teaching

Classes are small, with no more than 12 pupils, so teachers can give the individual attention that makes the difference. Specialist teaching is supported by assistive technology in the classroom, the targeted use of intelligent assessment, and both therapeutic and academic intervention, which lets us identify gaps in understanding and accelerate progress.

Therapy woven through the day

Therapy is part of everyday life at Burlington House School, not an add-on. Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and counselling are delivered on site by full-time specialists who work hand in hand with teachers, so that teaching informs therapy and therapy informs teaching.
