Burlington House School is introducing changes to its Prep, Senior and Sixth Form campuses from September 2026, designed to strengthen our school community and provide pupils with access to enhanced facilities.
The current BHS Sixth Form in Hammersmith will relocate to the current Prep school building on Fulham High Street, a 4-minute walk from Putney Bridge Station. This offers significantly more space for our 16+ learners, including a dedicated science lab, media suite, sports hall and dark room. Other enhancements to the learning environments will be announced shortly.
Our Prep school pupils will move to the Senior School site on Bishops Avenue to create a 7-16 years campus. Ahead of this, the Bishops Avenue site will undergo some important upgrades, including replacement windows throughout and the refurbishment of the Occupational Therapy Room, playground area, and library/common room.
Their move to the Bishops Avenue site will see Prep pupils benefit from access to specialist on-site classrooms and the benefit of being central to our Extended Learning Area, which is based in the heart of Bishops Park.
These changes will strengthen our school community, providing pupils with learning environments that support their development and prepare them confidently for their next steps, while enabling staff to collaborate more closely across our two neighbouring SW6 campuses.
