Burlington House Sixth Form: A Five-Year Milestone in Specialist Education
We’re proud to launch the first in a new series of short films exploring life at Burlington House School’s Sixth Form – a setting that has redefined what specialist post-16 education can look like for neurodivergent learners.
Now, five years in, our Sixth Form has grown in both ambition and impact. As part of Burlington House School , the UK’s top SpLD specialist school for GCSE outcomes – our post-16 provision is designed to continue that trajectory. We offer a flexible, highly personalised curriculum underpinned by meaningful work experience, enrichment, and strong pastoral care.
This first video captures that spirit, with staff sharing their reflections on what makes our Sixth Form unique. As Steve Proctor, Head of Sixth Form, puts it:
“We are very proud to share the first of a small series of videos about our wonderful Sixth Form. It was a great experience to be a part of and I think it really captures the Sixth Form so well now that we are 5 years into our journey.”
The series is just beginning – upcoming films will shine a light on our students, their voices, and their experiences of success on their own terms.
We hope this series resonates with professionals working in SEND, careers, sixth form and beyond. If you’d like to connect, collaborate or visit us in person, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
