Overview
Spanish is taught from Year 7 through to Year 11, providing students with the opportunity to develop valuable communication skills, cultural awareness, and a love of language learning. Our curriculum is designed to be engaging and practical, balancing useful communication with a deeper appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures.
Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9)
Pupils build a strong foundation in Spanish through the four key skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Lessons encourage confidence and curiosity, with students exploring vocabulary, grammar, and culture. By the end of Year 9, pupils have the option to continue their studies in the foreign language by choosing it as a GCSE option.
