Food Preparation

Food Preparation at Burlington House Prep School is a lively, practical subject where pupils learn the skills and confidence to cook healthy, enjoyable meals. Each week, pupils take part in hands-on cooking activities that encourage them to try new ingredients, explore different cuisines, and develop their independence in the kitchen.

What pupils learn

  • Practical skills such as knife handling, measuring, weighing, mixing and baking
  • How to prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks
