How is it assessed ?
The Science A levels and AS levels are entirely assessed by terminal examinations. Practical skills are assessed separately. For A level, there is a minimum of 12 required practical activities to achieve the Practical Endorsement. This endorsement is separate from the final written exam and is graded as a pass or not awarded. Practical skills are assessed in the classroom by teacher observation.
Who is it for ?
